Handcrafted in brass this unusual hare door knocker is guaranteed to make your visitors smile. As well as gorgeous ears it has a rather cute tail. It's delicate & elegant but weighing almost 1kg has a resounding knock. This hare door knocker comes in a beautiful wooden 'keepsake' box & is a unique gift for any animal lover! Fitting: Made entirely by hand & fitted using an easy surface mounted fixing there are no visible screws on either side of the door. Recommended for wood doors. Screws & fixing bracket supplied. Finish: Natural chemical-free aged brass with a slight sheen. A clear sealant is applied which will protect your door knocker & prevent it from tarnishing. This is a thin & durable coating that unlike a lacquer will not crack or peel. It contains elevated levels of anti-oxidants which gives protection against acid rain & salt air. No need for metal cleaning product products just wipe with a soft cloth periodically. Each hare door knocker is individually handmade so there may be subtle variations from the image.
